We will DELAY a race start time if there is lightning at the start line. We'll impose a 20-30 min delay depending on more lightning. Usually it passes very quickly. We do NOT delay if it is windy (well, unless there is a tornado on the horizon) or if it is raining, snowing or 106*.
Racers will be notified of a delay of start through announcements at the race venue, text messaging (if you opted in during registration) and email to registered racers.
We will not delay a race past 30 minutes. Therefore, if we can't start by 7 PM, the race will be canceled. Racers will take their swag and the race will not be rescheduled.
